Mind Over Matter

(Journal Entry 11.12.12)

 We are what we imagine

Black and white horrors, illuminated paradises  

Traveling in a realm that separates us from the world less explored

Restricting the thinker from ever dreaming

Abandoning the dreamer for always believing

We trade in our sense of imagination

Creating faded trails of perception

We are what we imagine, 

but we're slowly detaching our thoughts

Choosing to sleep and leaving our dreams behind.

    I think a lot of folks are afraid to capture and create their dreams for fear of failure. It has a gripping hold on adult creativity.
