The Intersections Of An Identity (Journal Entry)
Journal Entry: November 25, 2009 8:17 AM/(Memoirs Of A Senseless Genius)
I once got lost in translation within the path to becoming a better version of myself. The only thing that connected me with my course was the finger prints that an individual is forced to leave on their past. Growing in time as a finger does the size of its print. Capturing every moment of clarity only to lose it in a trance of insensibility. Trying to be what I have yet to become and learning to let go of the things that I will not be. Each chapter of the past is bookmarked for the reference towards the impending. The evolution of a thought, a figure, and/or a moment ---- is what defines the anticipation created by the inevitable progression of the future becoming the present.
The Intersections Of An Identity by Senseless Genius
Thoughts, contemplations, and reactions are key components to the structure of our character. Moreover, how we incorporate all of the above with our daily interactions helps form an identity. Realistically our identity is not as defined and absolute as a fingerprint. Most people live in a box where the individuality that authenticates our presence, holds less value than a counterfeit two dollar bill. Living vicariously through someone else picture frame. Seizing the road someone else is traveling. We all dream outside of character. Averting an impulsive life that we are too premeditated to explore.
Its a lot of open road ahead of you... and sleeping behind the wheel ends the journey.
